FBI struggles with iPhone passcode

In the United States, Apple is refusing to provide technical support to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to unlock a phone used by a terrorist, who left the phone locked after he was killed in gun battle with the US security forces in San Bernardino, California. Recently, a California court has ordered Apple to cooperate with the FBI in the terrorism matter, but in another case in the New York related to drug trafficker, the court has ruled against the FBI.

But, Apple continues to oppose California court’s order in terrorism matter and has filed an appeal before a higher court. Already the FBI has lost several crucial months fighting a legal battle with Apple. A dead terrorist is not simply another dead man/woman. His/Her digital belongings are a living network meshed in which is vital information of possible future plots. Access is therefore necessary to keep the world safe and secure.
