EU probes GDPR violations

In its first annual report after General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into practice on May 25, 2018, the Irish Data Protection Commission (DPC) opened 15 statutory inquiries (investigations) in relation to multinational technology companies’ compliance with the GDPR.
