INSAT / GSAT Transponders

The department of space (DoS) in a recent communication with the department of telecommunication (DoT) has informed them that the rates of transponders offered by DoS are competitive compared with foreign satellites. It has also stated that it would be able to meet the 12 Gbps firm requirement of BharatNet by March 2019.
