Docomo-Tatas Arbitration

On October 24, 2016, the board of Tata Sons, the holding company of the Tata Group, unexpectedly replaced Cyrus Mistry as chairman. Ratan Tata was named as interim chairman while a five-member selection committee finds a permanent replacement. Mr Mistry, 48, has led the company since late December 2012. He was the first chairman in nearly 80 years of the group’s history to come from outside the Tata family.
