Corruption in NFS tenders

On August 14, 2017, the DoT has moved a note for the approval of the Telecom Commission for enhancing the budget of Network For Spectrum (NFS) project to Rs 24,664 crore from the existing Rs 13,334 crore that was approved by the cabinet on July 3, 2012. This is the second such enhancement sought by BSNL, the implementing agency for the project.
