CAF Audit

About 4.64 per cent of the total Customer Acquisition Forms (CAFs) which were audited during the last four years were found to be non-compliant. Out of this, 6.39 lakh connections were issued on fake documents. The DoT has imposed Rs 323 crore penalty on various operators for CAF violations, out of which only Rs 62 crore was paid by them, which is just 19.21 per cent of the total penalty.
