The home ministry is in the habit of sending routine side information even after granting security clearances on the core national security parameters ie unity, integrity & sovereignty. For example, for investments from the US based companies in routine it states that “since it is a US company, it will be governed by the US Patriot Act, 2005 of which sections 206-212 deals with Foreign Surveillance and section 209 specifically suggest that any US ISP provider would be compelled to disclose the stored communication data via a search warrant and not a wiretap order to US law enforcement agencies”.
